Samantha Sears

Samantha Sears is an associate attorney at Sears Bennet & Gerdes, LLP. Samantha was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas. She is a passionate advocate for the individuals and businesses of her community. Driven by her tough work ethic and personal empathy for her clients, she remains committed to her goal of solving challenging legal problems for her clients with successful solutions. 

Before joining Sears Bennet & Gerdes, LLP in 2020, Samantha received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University in 2015, and she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center in 2018. In law school, Samantha’s natural abilities as an advocator and leader were fully realized. Samantha was elected by her fellow students to be Vice President for the Law Center’s Student Bar Association, elected as a Student Ambassador, and Samantha served as a Senior Articles Editor for the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy. During law school Samantha also worked as a legal intern with the Risk Management and General Counsel Office at Baylor College of Medicine in the Houston medical district, while remaining captain of the law school’s co-ed volleyball team. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable John Donovan at the 14th Court of Appeals. After law school from 2018-2020, Samantha worked at Hicks Davis Wynn, PC, where she had extensive litigation experience with medical malpractice defense, public utility law, and automobile and aviation accidents.

Now at Sears Bennet & Gerdes, LLP, Samantha primarily focuses on representing community associations. Whether the community is a subdivision, townhome, or condominium, Samantha is ready to make your job easier by assisting with corporate governance, restriction enforcement, collections, foreclosures, evaluate compliance with current laws, review contracts, or assist with anything else you may need to ensure the community runs smoothly.
